THE SUNDAY FILES

Inside Case No. 01

This is an investigation, not another trend report.

For this issue, I analyzed 35 luxury wedding planner brands across Charleston, Nashville, the Northeast, California, and the Mountain West. Every website was evaluated using the same 8 criteria—from typography and logo design to messaging, naming, and homepage structure—to see where patterns emerge.

Inside you'll discover:

35 of 35 brands used a white or near-white background

3 accent colors dominate the luxury wedding planner industry

27 of 35 used the same typography formula

6 of 35 put "Luxury" on their homepage.

Want to know why those numbers matter?

This isn’t about calling brands out

Most of the businesses featured are exceptional at what they do.

That's exactly why they're included.

The Sunday Files isn't about criticizing good work—it's about studying what happens when talented businesses, working independently, begin making the same branding decisions.

Because once everyone follows the same formula...

Standing out becomes a choice.

How these reports are created

Every issue follows the same research process.

I choose one industry, identify businesses operating at a similar level, then manually analyze each brand across eight branding factors—including color palette, typography, logo style, hero imagery, headline structure, messaging, naming, and taglines.

AI helps me organize and count the data.

The conclusions, judgment calls, and strategic insights are mine.

Technology supports the process.

I make the decisions.

Meet Shannon Pruitt, the head muse in charge

I’m a strategic director, designer, former wedding planner, and mom

I’m here for the business owners who value strategy just as much as style.

At Sunday Muse Design, our brands and websites don’t just look pretty. They also get results. Because where most brand and web designers are design-driven, we are strategy-focused.

Our clients are consistently raising their rates and staying top of search results after working with us.

Sure, we love giving you strategy and a beautiful brand & website. But the real result?

Business that feels as expansive as a slow Sunday morning.

Every count in the Files comes out of the same research I do for a client before I design anything. Same process, pointed at an entire industry at once.

(The wedding planner years are why Case No. 01 went where it went. I knew which rock to look under.)
